Mycoplasma Experience offers a comprehensive range of confidential services for the Cell Biologist in addition to Mycoplasma Testing. Our staff will provide confidential consultation to assist in sourcing and resolving outbreaks of mycoplasma contamination whether in the cell culture laboratory or production plant. We are also available for preventative consultation.

LABORATORY INSPECTION

Whether establishing a new cell culture laboratory, upgrading existing facilities, or developing new production processes and techniques involving cell culture, it is important not to overlook mycoplasma contamination. For a fraction of the price of new equipment an investment in a consultation could help avoid costly shut-downs, loss of valuable material or wasted research effort.

The inspection involves about a half day at your facility. Mycoplasma Experience personnel will view the cell culture area, with the procedures in use, having regard to the potential sources of mycoplasma contamination and provide a written report summarising risks with recommendations on approaches whereby these may be eliminated or controlled.

MYCOPLASMA AWARENESS LECTURE

For staff training you can arrange for a visiting speaker to talk on mycoplasma contamination, sources, effects on cell cultures and control. Lectures can be prepared to suit your individual requirements and signed certificates provided for staff training manuals if desired.
